Continuing Mega Man X3…

Three playing sessions went by so far already, so I will have to combine all three playing sessions for MMX 3 into one condensed post. Which is fine by me. Sis REALLY wants to get to Mega Man X4 as soon as possible. She is more ambitious about it than I am. But hey, I applaud her determination. :)

She defeated six out of the eight Maverick Bosses, but currently she is struggling so much with the boss Crush Crawfish. That guy is so freakin’ annoying because he makes X use up all three of his Sub-Tanks before even a quarter of the battle is finished. In the middle of the stage X had to fight a difficult sub-boss, Vile. It can take a lot out of X and afterward, Sis had to refill the Sub-Tanks, which took around 20 minutes or more doing that in the Crush Crawfish stage.

She realized some time ago that the best stage to have X replenish his Sub-Tanks is the Toxic Seahorse stage. Right after the beginning, downstairs there are these purple turtle-like robots that shoot balls at X. They give out energy pills (or energy crystals, my sis likes to call them) almost every time. For a few times, they don’t give anything. However, X rarely gets hurt trying to fill up the Sub-Tanks with these guys, plus it only takes about five to seven minutes.

The final regular Maverick Boss that’s leftover is Volt Catfish. The level was difficult to get through, so Sis was saving that stage for last.

Update: Sis realized too late in the playing session that she indeed had to go to the Volt Catfish stage first, because it turns out that the Triad Thunder is Crush Crawfish’s weakness. Actually, it was my suggestion, but I wasn’t a hundred percent on it right away. It turned out I was right.  :)
